A divine single cask, where we peel out an outstanding expression of the multi-vatted Foundation Stone whisky. A fingerprint in our releases, you will find mead cask strewn across our brand, woven in and around our malt liquids. For those that have not imbibed in mead-style casks, you will be pleasantly delighted by the smoothness of a 49.4% spirit. On the tongue, the roundness of ginger bread softens the heat, rolling into the back of the mouth then finishing with an obvious filling of the nasal cavity.
This finish will remain in your nose for quite a time, bringing a warmth that reminds you of the festive season.
